Introduction

Travel from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy our seven days hiking through the famous valleys in Morocco. This tour has been designed and selected to be a window for our guests to explore and discover the diversity of nature and the life-style of the indigenous Berbers.

Itinerary of the Trek

Day 1 : Arrive to Marrakech

Meet our representative at the airport and transfer to your accommodation. Your tour leader will meet you in the early evening for the briefing of the tour..

Day 2 : Drive To Aguersioual, Trek to Tizi Oussem via Azzaden Valley.

This morning, you drive south towards Imlil Valley. After 01h30 drive you reach the village of Aguersioul (1650 m) here you meet your cook and mule handlers. Begin your hiking up into the Matate Valley and then on to Tizi n'Oudite (2,200 m), where you stop to enjoy a picnic lunch. Descending through a juniper forest into the Azaden Valley, you then continue towards your final stop in Tizi Oussem (1880 m). Here you stay in a traditional Berber-style mud-brick building built into a hillside. The rest of the afternoon is left to take a little walk around the village or to enjoy a traditional steam bath. Day 3 : Trek to Aroumd Village via Mazzik Pass

After breakfast, you start your new exploring day by hiking up from Tizi Oussem village following the slow and steady trail towards Mazzik pass 2489m. From this pass, you will enjoy a panoramic view over the valley of Imlil and the peaks ahead of you. Then you start your descent towards Armed village which is located at the bottom of the Toubkal Mountains. From your stay, you can see the highest peak of North Africa 4165m. Your afternoon is left to enjoy a comfortable sitting on the roof terrace of your guesthouse reading your books or visiting a local family for the afternoon tea. Approx 05h walk

Day 4 : Trek to Tachdirte via Tammatart Pass

Today, you leave Aroumed village and trek to explore Imnane valley. Firstly, you walk downhill for about 40 minutes before you start your hike up to Tamatart pass 2280m. Once you get to this pass you will be amazed by the great view of little villages surrounded by terraces of wheat and barley. You continue your walk towards Tachdirte village.
This Berber village is considered as the highest populated village in all Morocco. This afternoon you might have a chance to enjoy a walk to a little waterfall near the village. Overnight: simple village house. Approx. 05hours walk.

Day 5 : Trek back To Aguersiwal via Imnane Valley and Aguersioual Pass.

Today you explore four villages of Imnane valley before you get to the last one called Ikisss. From there you start hiking up to the Aguersioual pass 2100 m. Then you continue down to Aguersioual village. On your way downhill, you may stop to visit a women cooperative specialized on weaving the Berber carpets, you sit and chat with the ladies and share a cup of mint tea. Overnights: simple village house. Approx 06 hours walk.

Day 6 : Drive back to Marrakesh, City Tour, Free Afternoon.

Today, you leave the mountains behind and head back to Marrakesh. Once you arrive you take a city tour with a local guide. You will first visit the Bahia palace and cross the Mellah, Jewish Quarter, with its flea market, where the jewelers, the area of spices, looms ..., and finally you arrive at the famous Djemaa el Fna square - the central square of Marrakech and the most important place in the medina. It develops the public life of Marrakech both day and night.
Thousands of people come together in this public space, filling it with color, culture, and business. Storytellers, teachers exhibiting their teachings, snake charmers, dancers, fruit juice vendors, acrobats, water carriers. A few meters from the square is the Koutoubia one of the most representative monuments of the city of Marrakech. The afternoon is left free for more exploration of the city. Approx 04 hours walk.

Day 7 : Tour Ends.

Your “Three Valleys Trip” ends after breakfast. Check out time is usually around 12 pm, but you’re free to leave any time before. Additional accommodation can be pre-booked if you wish to spend more time exploring Marrakech (subject to availability).
